The future technologyArtificial Intelligence (AI) has been a prominent future topic for several years. The prophecies for AI are great: At the very least, the world of work will change fundamentally, at the most the entire human species. Expectations and concerns are correspondingly high. But will AI even live up to these expectations? Anyone who studies the topic of AI a little quickly realizes that there have already been two phases in which disappointment followed AI hype, the so-called "AI winters." So what are realistic expectations for the new AI providers and what is there to consider from an investor's point of view? With an unbiased look at the topic of AI, we take a look at what is already feasible with AI technology and what belongs in the realm of fiction. In doing so, we shed light on various aspects of the technology and the new business sector "AI".

Dr. Tina Klüwer ist eine anerkannte Expertin, Managerin und technische Botschafterin für das Thema Künstliche Intelligenz und dessen Umsetzung in der Wirtschaft. Sie leitet das AI Projekt von Science & Startups, dem Verbund der Startup-Services der Berliner Hochschulen und der Charité Universitätsmedizin.

Vor dem Start des Projektes war Klüwer Gründerin und Geschäftsführerin der parlamind GmbH, einem Unternehmen für Automatisierung im Kundenservice mittels Künstlicher Intelligenz und Sprachverarbeitung, nach dessen erfolgreichen Verkauf sie die vier Schwesterunternehmen als technische Geschäftsführerin leitete. Vorher arbeitete sie über 10 Jahre als Wissenschaftlerin am Deutschen Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), der Universität Bonn und der Freien Universität in Berlin. Sie promovierte in Computerlinguistik an der Universität des Saarlandes.
